West Virginia Real Estate Regulations: All broker licenses issued after January 1, 2006 shall be renewed on a three year renewal cycle.

West Virginia Agents, including inactive salespersons, brokers licenses on deposit and suspended licenses shall be renewed in accordance with this paragraph in order to coordinate subsequent renewals with the persons continuing education requirements.

Real Estate Licenses for which continuing education is due in 2006 shall be renewed on the licensee’s birthday in 2006 for a three year period for a fee that is three times the renewal fee for one year for that license.

Agents for which continuing education is due in 2007 shall be renewed on the licensee’s birthday in 2006 for a one year period for the renewal fee for one year for that license.

West Virginia Agents for which continuing education is due in 2008 shall be renewed on the licensee’s birthday in 2006 for a two year period for a fee that is two times the renewal fee for one year for that license.

All broker designations are renewed on a timely basis on or after January 1, 2007 shall be renewed for a three year period for a fee that is three times the renewal fee for one year for that license, and shall be due on the broker's birthday in the calendar year during which the West Virginia real estate agent's continuing education is due.
