The VA Appraisal class is delivered online and is state approved. The course catalog includes pre license courses and continuing education training.
There are 3 levels or types of licensing:
- Trainee
- Licensed Residential
- Certified Residential
- Certified General
Course subjects include:
90 hour full license package course: This class contains the 30 hour Basic Appraisal Principles and the 30 hour Appraiser Procedures module. It also includes the 15 hour Residential Report Writing and Case Studies, and the 15 our online courses needed for Licensing.
The training in the full 90 hour course will provide everything you need to know to complete the course and be a licensed Virginia appraiser.
Virginia 75 hour Appraisal: This course is 75 hours of the new Real Property Appraiser. The course covers real estate value, types of value, economics, markets, analysis, and ethics.
