Course Subject Requirements
2 hours of certified ethics or consumer protection for all license types except adjusters.
2 hours in consumer protection.
Texas Insurance Agents may satisfy the remainder of the CE credits requirement by finishing certified courses applicable to any license type.
Exemptions:
Agents who have been licensed in Texas continuously for 20 years or more may apply for an exemption.
Nonresident Texas agents or adjusters.
