South Dakota CE Rules and Regulations for Credits:

Continuing Education Hours

10 hours biennially

20 hours biennially for combined LH/PC license, must complete at least 8 hours in one line

4 hours biennially for crop hail agents

New licensees recieving a license after 9/30 of an even numbered year but before 10/01 of an odd numbered year must complete at least one half of the CE requirement.

No more than 50% of required hours may be earned from one insurance company.

Continuing Education Compliance Date

April 30 of even numbered years

License Renewal Date

April 30 of even numbered years
