You can take or sit for this exam using the form U-10, which is used for individuals not currently working for an NASD firm. AIT provides this form on request with the Series 3 home study course or you can download it from our sites from the Links Page.

The Series 3 offers an excellent introduction to the business and is a big plus for people looking to add credentials to a resume. The license itself is for fee based financial planning.

How to study and pass the exam

Each section is followed with a chapter exam covering the topics that were just read. Our answer sheets are full explanations that are normally 3 or 4 sentences long. Learning through test question answer sheets is a very effective tool in passing the Series 3.

The second book contains printed final exams. All of these exams are current, updated and accurate. Our students find our practice tests are just as difficult (if not a little more) as the actual Series 3.
