License and Certificate Renewal:
A Massachusetts student must renew his license every two years. Each license issued to a person is good until May 1st on the next year occurring. Upon renewal, the license will be valid until May 1st on the even year next occurring. A class student must submit to the Board a completed renewal application and re required fees prior to the expiration date of the license. Also, a licensed home inspector must submit documentation of completing the continuing education requirements set forth by the Board.
Continuing Education CE Rules:
The continuing education requirements for licensed Massachusetts inspectors will be the completion by the applicant a minimum of 24 course hours of continuing education activities per CE period.
