- Full 90 Hour Appraisal Prelicense Class Requirement - This course covers the full 90 hour class requirement for real estate appraiser license in CA. There is a 15 hour portions dealing with Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice and the 75 Hour Qualifying Course for Licensing and the 15 Hour USPAP course.

There are also California continuing education classes available. Keeping an appraiser license active requires periodic CE training. You will be notified of this once you get your license.
CE requirements include:
Completing 14 hours of continuing education each year in which the license is valid for six months or more. Proof of the continuing education hours must be submitted every other renewal period (every 4 years). California Appraisers must take a minimum of 4 hours of Federal and California Appraisal related statutory and regulatory law.
